Applicant Privacy Notice

Effective October 4, 2026

This notice explains what Marathon Freight LLC (MC #1595424, USDOT #4154423) does with the information you provide in our driver application.

What we collect

• Contact details: name, phone, email and home address.
• Date of birth, CDL number, class, endorsements and expiration.
• Employment, driving and safety history.
• Truck details, for owner-operators.
• Photos or scans of your CDL, medical card and any other document you upload.
• The date and time you accepted this notice and gave your consents, and the IP address the application was sent from.

How we use it

We use your information only to evaluate your application, contact you about driving opportunities, and meet the qualification requirements of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations. With your consent, we obtain your Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and your FMCSA Pre-Employment Screening Program (PSP) report. We do not sell your information or use it for marketing.

Who we share it with

Your application is seen by our recruiting and safety staff. We share information only with the services needed to process it: the providers of your MVR and PSP report, previous employers we contact to verify your history, our insurance carrier, and the email provider that delivers your application to us. We disclose information when the law requires it.

How we protect it

• Your application is sent over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection.
• Our website does not store your application or documents. They are delivered directly to our recruiting inbox.
• Access is limited to staff who review applications.
• Email verification codes expire after 10 minutes and can be used once.

How long we keep it

• If you are hired, your application becomes part of your driver qualification file, which we keep while you drive for us and for three years after, as federal rules require.
• If you are not hired, we keep your application for up to one year and then delete it.
• Unfinished applications are saved only in your own browser tab and are cleared when you close it.
